Note: This RPG is an anime like story of my own, this is not intended to have any association with any established anime/manga out there. If it does, that is completely unintentional.
In this roleplay if you would like to join in, just simply give a brief bio of your character and have them say a few lines about themselves. After doing so, you may have them immediately start interacting with the other people here.
The plot is as follows: It is twenty years from present day, the world is still rotating as it has for the past billions of years. The same old, same old. Up in the morning, into the shower, out of the shower, chug some coffee, no time for breakfast, into the car, onto the freeway, to work, five minutes late, slave over a mountain of paperwork, go home, sprawl on couch, sleep, repeat. Everything is just as it always is...until...
[introduce Jehri]
My character: Jehri
Gender: Male
Brief bio: Jehri has been droning in and out of his days here on Earth from the time he could even start to fathom that he needed to breathe in order to survive. Just like many other individuals in this world, Jehri looks at life as not an adventure, but something to "smile at and get it over with". Every day is the same, always has been, always will b...
[start next day after plot]
*drool* The pillow Jehri has his face residing on is soaked with saliva. Huh? Jehri starts with a frantic jump - "DAMMIT!", Jehri rips out of the covers he is enveloped in and slithers into his work attire. "What's another late day," Jehri mumbles to the only one there to listen, himself. As he is leaving the front door and closing it behind him, Jehri feels his feet give out beneath of him. Looking around frantically, "What the -" Jehri scrapes in front of himself, trying to hold on to what was once his porch steps. I'm falling into a ditch! Jehri thinks fleetingly. With all of his strength, Jehri pulls himself up onto solid ground again. Trying to get his bearings about himself, Jehri studies his once familiar surroundings. All that meets Jehri's eyes is a burnt, nuclearesque wasteland. What is this...the damn apocolypse? And I...ME...I am the one chosen to survive...where is everyone? The thoughts ran rampant through Jehri's mind. No, no! This can't be - me, no, I am not fit to be the hero - DAMMIT - I'M NOT GOING TO BE A HERO! screamed Jehri in the depths of his own mind. Now outloud, "What the heck is going on?! Where is everyone?! HELLO? IS ANYONE OUT THERE!?"
