Please note: When "wildz" is stated, it is a substitution for ANY pet beside pure catz and dogz. So fantasiez included as well, among others!
A unique attribute to Petz Culture is this particular show ring! Here in the wildz show ring, all of your wildz can compete against each other to earn their own points, titles, and awards! Again, unique to Petz Culture, we have a special point and titling system for our non-catz and dogz petz! Rules, regulations and how it works is all below!
How the showz work.
First and foremost - being that standards aren't exactly written for wildz, the win/lose basis of wildz is specific to the criteria posted within the individual show. Some may be more difficult than others. Some showz may be specific to a species as well.
Wildz showz here at Petz Culture vary in their requirements. Being that putting a fish up to an elephant would look funny in a conformation show, the wildz ring here isn't quite like that. If you'd like to enter or create a wildz show, keep reading!
This show ring is all about showing what your wild pet can do!
The Eye-Catching Series
This series in the wildz show here at Petz Culture is more of a traditional "cutesy" competition. Of course there isn't a written standard for what pose or position is the absolute cutest or most eye-catching wild, so its up to the individual judging! Now of course that makes it extremely biased (one would think), but so long as the judge's decision on the winners was solely on the animal and not the user who entered them, all is fair in love and war.
In the eye-catching series the object of the competition is to get the most striking pose with who you think is your most cute, adorable, beautiful, unique etc. wildz! There is not a "standard" way the pose should be, you are just trying to get the judge to believe that YOUR wildz should win the competition simply through what they are doing.
Guidelines for the eye-catching series!
toyz, clothez, backgrounds etc. are allowed in the picture to enhance your wildz appearance.
as long as the pet is a wildz, it can enter the show (no pure catz or dogz). The wild may be mixed with catz/dogz, however, the wild must be at least HALF wild in order to participate, no less.
wildz may be hexed from their original appearance, however, the image entered in the show may NOT be altered. Remember, this is not a graphic competition, it is solely based on the wild petz.
judges may choose whether or no they want to specify what species or type of wildz they want in their show, if there is not a specification, then it is open to ALL species/types of wildz.
showz must be judged within one week of being closed for judging or someone else will be appointed to do so.
judges must base their decisions of winners on the wild petz ONLY, NOT on how much they like the person who entered them etc.
all entries must be posted on the board as an image, not a link.
judges may specify what the wild is to be doing in the picture, in some cases, a judge may say all entrants must have their wild be standing on their head walking (weird exmaple, but just an idea). Another exmaple would be saying only wildz that have scales may enter, only wildz that have feathers may enter, only rodents may enter etc.
Awards may be made, but are not necessary.
To keep the number of unjudged showz to a minimum, there will be a limit as to how many showz you can have running at a time.
Below is a chart of how many unjudged showz you are allowed to have running at any given time.
EBW Showz - 2
Quick Showz - 2
Standard Showz - 2
Massive Showz - 1
*Also, you are not allowed to have two showz of the same kind running at the same time. So while you can have one Standard Catz show and one Standard Dogz show, you can NOT have two Standard Dogz shows running at one time. But you CAN have one Standard Dogz show, and one Dogz Quick show running at the same time.
UPDATE: You may hold as many showz in any category at a time as you'd like so long as you know you can judge them! Petz Culture definitely wants to aide in the "pick-up" of petz showz available to competitors! Remember: Do NOT hold five at a time if you know you will not be able to keep up with them! Doing so multiple times in a row will lead to punishment!
Beware: When entering shows, do not edit images except for small watermarks, in areas that do not distract or cover the pose.
